When my son Aiden faced what I call a cancer watch, I saw firsthand how fragile life really is and why life insurance matters.
Around the same time, a neighbor told me the story of how he and his wife lost their young daughter to cancer.
For me, it wasn’t just a story, it was a jolt to my entire being. The thought of my own child being terminally sick, even if only for a moment, became unbearably real. Tears came in sobs as I pleaded with God in my heart, telling myself not to panic, and begging that this was not how his story would end.
That was the moment I knew I couldn’t ignore how unprepared most families really are and why I now share this story.
